About Me

Gretel D'Amico
Purpose

I transform organisations and their teams to become increasingly safe, reliable and efficient.

I do this by putting people at the centre: when they have clarity of purpose, take ownership of change and commit to what they do, the organisation develops its own capabilities to sustain and improve results over time.

— Gretel D'Amico

After 25 years leading Process Safety and Operational Excellence management at leading energy and oil & gas companies, I came to understand that the most costly gaps aren't a lack of vision — they're the distance between what's decided in the boardroom and what happens on the ground.

What sets me apart isn't just having designed frameworks, but having walked the path of building real capabilities in complex organisations — listening to people, involving them early, and creating the climate that makes change possible.

PAE & Pluspetrol

I worked at Pan American Energy, with a focus on Argentina, and at Pluspetrol, leading EHS and Operational Excellence management across Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Angola.

PECOM Executive

More recently, at PECOM, I held the position of Executive Director of Sustainability and Operational Excellence, with scope across Argentina, Brazil and Colombia.

Engineer in Business Organisation (UADE), MBA (UCEMA). I complement my career with ongoing executive education — most recently in AI Strategies for Business Transformation (Kellogg School of Management) and in corporate governance and responsible leadership (MED Programme, Fundación FLOR).
